I think this sounds like a fun idea - I might trail along behind doing the same thing ;) Looking up when things were published might be a bit of a challenge for the early years though…

Ron having everything he's read in Goodreads, and then all of that in a spreadsheet, was a major boon to him.

But I'm glad people like the idea! I might do it myself soon too.

I really like the idea too but I don't have a great log of what I read when over the last long amount of years and my memory of that sort of thing is doodoo. Also the line between individual books and series get really blurry for me. Still it's probably a good exercise just to think about your history of reading.
