Now we want to know where it was! Was it in the bathroom? :beaming:

The question is was it where it was supposed to be or in some weird spot?

Do you think this may be all of us here?

Happy holiday, ScarletBea, sounds relaxing and good 8)
This one, and also the one where the husband/wife died due to the unread piles of books falling on them in bed  (that’s why we only keep the current reading material there - less likely to get squashed by the piles on the loungeroom floor)

That's so funny! :beaming:

And I just got home: a couple of days in Scarborough and then a "stately home and gardens" today.
I was very lucky because my knee started hurting last weekend and I know that normally it takes about 3-4 days of pain, so when I arrived there I was ok and I was able to walk loads.

Had a lovely weekend at Melbourne's spec-fic convention, Continuum, the first time it's run since 2019! It's a fun little convention with a little more of a pop-culture / fandom slant on things (as compared to Canberra's Conflux, which is more about authors and writing) but it's a fun and welcoming community and I enjoyed myself tremendously. We had Shannon Chakraborty as Guest of Honour, and she was really fun and interesting. (And, for those interested, she was hard at work on the sequel to Amina al-Sirafi!) I got to do a panel with her (and Amie Kaufman) about swashbuckling, and we had a great time!

It was also a "fully masked unless eating, drinking or presenting" event, and everyone was tremendously supportive of that policy. No one wants the con crud, whatever it happens to be this year!
