That one always looks like an amazing event! Makes me proper annoyed about being about as far away as it's possible to be.

I'm on holidays this week
Today I'm still home, but soon I'll spend a few days away...

And I got a book in the post! I won Shauna Lawless's The words of kings and prophets in a little newsletter competition she did on the paperback release 8)

Snap! I’m on leave too this week (Elfy isn’t, so I’m staying at home the whole time).

I’m reading and knitting mostly. Today is finishing the book catalogue, and tomorrow is catching up with friends.
But mostly it’s a break from work

We're on holidays in a couple weeks, heading up to warmer climes, and it can't come soon enough; it was four degrees this morning, and it's apparently going to be only two tomorrow, and I appreciate that it doesn't really rate compared to what the northern hemisphere folks get in winter, but I am a weak Australian and I DO NOT LIKE

Soak up the sun while you can and enjoy every moment, have sympathy and understanding. It is icy here at night.
